Terms of Use

Simple terms for using Cocon and this website.

Last updated

1. Using Cocon

Cocon is provided for your personal ambiance and relaxation. Once you download it from the Mac App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app, unless a separate agreement is provided.

2. Not a safety tool

Cocon displays decorative effects on your desktop. It is not a notification, alarm or safety system. Keep the intensity and volume at levels that are comfortable for you and do not rely on it where you need to hear your surroundings.

3. Photosensitivity

The Storm ambiance shows flashes of light. If you are sensitive to flashing lights, use another ambiance or lower the intensity.

4. Intellectual property

The Cocon name, icon, software, visuals and interface belong to the publisher. Bundled sounds come from free-licensed sources; their credits are available in the app’s repository. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the app except as the law or the Mac App Store terms allow.

5. Warranty and liability

Cocon is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

6. Changes

These terms may change as the app evolves. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
